Confidential Hiring for Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Clerk Job at Pampa, TX Full Time

The company is a leading manufacturing of tools and equipment used in the oil and gas industry. This position will perform a variety of activities to support the accounting group and the administration of the business, including but not limited to, accounts receivable function, customer collections and reconciliation, support month-end close, and other general office administration functions. We are seeking an energetic accounting professional with applicable experience who can relate to people at all levels of our organization and our customers. The ideal candidate will be results orientated with previous accounting and finance experience (specifically in the accounts receivable area) and will thrive while operating in a fast paced, growth orientated, manufacturing environment.

Accounting Duties

• Maintain physical and electronic receivables files
• Daily preparing customer invoices for mailing and emailing to our customers
• Maintain correct classification of revenues in Quickbooks
• Provide monthly statements to all customers and work to resolve discrepancies
• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger with CFO
• Seek customer purchase orders before shipping can proceed
• Pull customer references and report to CFO
• Adequately control receivables and collections
• Ensure all items shipped are being invoiced properly along with proper shipping and sales tax charges
• Participate in various audits
• Other administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office products
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounts receivable experience
• High attention to detail and organization skills
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines in a fast pace work environment
• Analytical thinker, problem solver, and team player

Pay: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
