The Accounting Manager will have the critical responsibility of leading and supporting our entire accounting department. This includes closing the month and producing financial statements in a timely manner, implementing policies and procedures within the accounting department, and any other applicable reporting needed by the company. They will be expected to have the ability to be both a builder & an executor while managing the accounting team.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with functional department heads and personnel in all areas of the company to build and scale the accounting department throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized individual who is ready to jump into new and already existing projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing accounting policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
• Provide necessary reporting to assist in guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains accounting staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per month
