Job brief

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

Accounting Clerk responsibilities include maintaining cash records for multiple retail locations. Assistance with payroll and other accounting projects may also be requested as needed.

Familiarity with Quickbooks and MS Excel is essential. We primarily use Google Sheets for tracking cash, as well as MS Excel for general reports.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash entries and review of key data for multiple retail locations

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accountant

• Type accurately, prepare and maintain vendor documents and records

• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

Requirements

• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

• Competency in MS Office and Quickbooks

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Aptitude for numbers

• Data entry and word processing skills

• High school degree

• Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay
