Local construction contractor is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk.
Responsibilities include keeping financial records up to date which includes but not limited to entering and keeping track of accounts payables such as entering invoices to the accounting software, preparing check runs, reconciling monthly vendor statements. Other responsibilities involve preparing bank deposits, reconciling monthly bank statement and ledger accounts, keeping track, and processing employee expenses and providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.

Candidate should be self- motivated with the ability to work independently using their own initiative. Candidate should have a basic understanding of the accounting cycle, and experience with using excel, word and QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,042.00 – $52,607.00 per year
