Confidential Hiring for Accounting and Data Entry Support Job at Raleigh, NC Full Time

Our firm is a rapidly growing Raleigh, NC based Development and Construction Company that specializes in Apartment and Senior Living Communities within the Triangle region of NC. We are in search of a Accounting and Data Entry Support who is motivated and an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.

What you will be doing:

• Provide support to the Accounting Manager.
• Perform data entry for accounts payable, enter vouchers, invoices, bills and expenses to ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Support vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding accounts payable. Assists business finance teams with inquiries and payment status questions as needed.
• Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
• Track insurance and information for all subcontractors.
• Support field personnel as needed
• Track certified payroll and reporting as needed.
• Assist with check running activities, financial reporting and annual project audits.
• Maintain and organize accounts payable and file records.
• Match invoices, purchase orders and receipts prior to payment distribution. Match invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong typing skills and experience with accounting software,

Education and Experience:

Associates (or higher) degree in Accounting or a related field.

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in construction industry is a plus.
• Experience in Foundation Software and Timberline is a plus.
