About the Role Monday-Friday 8am -5 pm
Exception Data Entry Associate in Baton Rouge, LA $14.00/Hr (NOT REMOTE) bonus incentive
Conduent has an immediate opening for an Exceptions Data Entry in Baton Rouge, LA. The Exception Processor performs work under general supervision and will require considerable training and experience and broad working knowledge of a special matter. Under immediate supervision, the associate will ensure proper processing of data updates. The associate will perform routine tasks requiring a working knowledge of the client’s products and services.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments for LT-PCS home assessments recipients
- Mail LT-PCS eligibility determination decision letters
- Mail POC to provider, fiscal intermediary, and/or registry contractor
- Refer appropriate complaints to Adult Protective Service or Elderly Protective Services according to policy
- Develop and implement management ing and control mechanisms to measure progress and compliance with internal and DHH performance standards to track pertinent data to ensure effective decision-making and achieve goals within established timeframes
- Check Unisys for Medicaid Eligibility
- Open incoming mail, sort and scan for appropriate distribution
- Prepare outgoing mailings; insert materials in envelopes
- Manage department scanning tasks to ensure departmental workflow and time frame compliance
- Contact LT-PCS recipients to confirm service delivery
- Assist requestors with provider selections
- Contact LT-PCS provider to confirm availability and start date
Requirements
Education/Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must
- At least 1 year experience
- High School diploma, or college degree (preferred)
- Ten Key experience
- Data Entry
- Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software
- Strong analytical abilities and data entry background
- Proficient keyboard skills and typing speed
- Excellent time and attendance commitment
- Ability to multi-task and follow guidelines or direction
- Willing to learn new tasks and be cross-trained in multiple functions and areas
- Attention to detail and accuracy oriented
- Background and drug screen required.
