Data Entry Operators / Checks Team

Schedule:7:00 am – Clean Desk ( no later than 7:30)

Starting pay rate: $14 during training / piece rate pay, after training.

Job Track Description:
The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for completing hands-on tasks related to sorting, scanning, and keying information found on checks into a data entry program. The Data Entry Operator must be able to follow specific guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in their work.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort actual documents for processing following specific guidelines
  • Scan documents so they can be uploaded to the storage system
  • Review scanned material for accuracy
  • Key information found on checks into the data entry program using SOP
  • Match checks documents to claim records based on information in the document and criteria found in the SOP
  • Match and staple checks to the appropriate paperwork in preparation for shipping
  • Package and prepare checks for shipping
  • Recognize when work is not flowing correctly in the workflow and communicate this to the Supervisor
  • any system issues to the Supervisor so that they may be resolved
  • Work in hands-on tasks as well as data entry (keying) tasks
  • Work within business hours and be available for regular overtime to complete the day’s work

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and SOP
  • Ability to work in hands-on tasks and perform data entry accurately and efficiently
  • Availability to accept any schedule within business hours, with occasional overtime required to complete the day’s work
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry programs

Physical Demands:
  • The Data Entry Operator must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
