The Opportunity
We are looking for a People & Talent Assistant on a 6-month contract to provide People Operations and Talent support. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administration support to ensure a high-quality People service is delivered to the business.
The ideal candidate will be seeking a position to provide them with an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through working in a diverse, generalist HR environment.
The position involves working on a variety of day-to-day tasks alongside a dynamic People team. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, the ability to multitask, work well under pressure and have a can-do and enthusiastic attitude.
The role will report to the People Operations Lead.
The People Team support employees based at both Vogue House (located just moments from Oxford Circus tube station) and the Adelphi building (a short walk from Charing Cross station) and thus the role will spend time in both buildings. We currently have a Hybrid working model working 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:

Be the first point of contact for all day-to-day administrative queries, responding to queries in our People enquiries inbox.

Support the People Operations Lead and the Talent team in an administrative capacity, helping to ensure the smooth running of the People department.

Responsible for the accurate processing of the full employee life cycle processes and administration including, but not limited to, new starters, promotions, transfers, leavers and employee benefit management.

Managing the registration process for new starters including checking and collecting right to work documents and running the People induction.

Requesting references for new employees, as well as providing references for current or previous employees.

Managing the online People Hub, posting relevant and up to date content available to all employees.

Supporting the execution of ongoing and new company wide People Initiatives.

Assist in the approach to communications and engagement, generating ideas and supporting in the execution.

Support in running reports and analyse people data on a regular basis.

Assisting the Talent team with Talent administration, including but not limited to: filtering and shortlisting applications to entry-level positions, arranging interviews, processing offers of employment and generating contracts.

Support in keeping the careers page up to date with open opportunities and uploading new jobs when required.

Prior experience with G-Suite would be advantageous.

Experience using an HRIS system and/or a recruitment system – Workday would be a bonus but is not essential.
