JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is a leadership opportunity with a growing, successful, professionally managed company, serving customers since 2004. This position is responsible for the overall leadership of a commercial healthcare laundry. The ideal candidate will consistently contribute to overall excellence that will meet or exceed customer expectations and team directives.

JOB SUMMARY:

As the manager of plant operations, you will manage production and daily operations, work closely with the company executives and ensure the safety of the plant. Your job duties will include monitoring performance, accounting for production adjustments and working toward business goals. In this role, you are responsible for clearly communicating across multiple departments including maintenance, transportation, customer relations and human resources. This position requires exemplary leadership skills, ability to strategize quickly and communicate effectively. This positon s directly to the Chief Executive Officer. You will be required to coordinate and ensure that production associates are meeting all corporate training guidelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO THE POSITION INCLUDE:

• Management of plant and staff positions for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• A thorough understanding of production environment
• Willing to work weekends and holidays
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Proven ability to manage and lead by example
• Conflict resolution and training
• Ability to set goals
• Hands-on leadership a must
• Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of management
• Must have a positive attitude
• Proven ability to improve processes and protect company assets
• Ability to effectively manage a highly diverse work force of racial, ethnic, class backgrounds, national origins, religious and political beliefs, physical abilities, ages, genders and sexual orientations

Other Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screen whenever required
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Sciences Degree or the equivalent of 3-5 years business experience and operational leadership

Desirable Qualifications

Registered Laundry/Linen Director certification or equivalent career experience

Membership in the following or equivalent:

· International Association for Hospital Textile Management (IAHTM) or Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA)

· Association for Linen Management (ALM)

· American Society Hospital Environmental Services (ASHES, Division of AHA)

· National Association of Institutional Linen Management (NAILM)

· American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
