Description:
· Will Travel and dispatch to Alabama, Canada, and other sites in the USA and Mexico as needed
· The primary responsibility of this role is to Inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production.
What you’ll be required to do:
· Capable of offline and online robot programming Preferably (Kawasaki, Nachi, and Motoman).
· Ability to do PLC Programming, and troubleshooting
· Knowledge and capability to perform Electrical wiring, wiring confirmation, and print reading
· Knowledge and capability to perform Hydraulic and Pneumatic confirmation, troubleshooting, and print reading
· Controls engineering/Technician work
· Robotics Engineering/technician work
· Mechanical, and electrical work, troubleshooting, metal working, controls wiring, etc.
· Safety Circuit confirmation, and equipment safety checks for production TM operation, confirmation
· Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
· Prepare and confirm new Bodyweld equipment at the US, Canada, and Mexico vendors
· Support weld machine SEIBI activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
· Support TMNA Body Engineering for Body weld model change activities
· Commissioning (auto running, confirmation of equipment building cars to engineering specifications, with quality maintained and safely doing so) new BW equipment at machine vendor and factory sites
· Develop and implement equipment countermeasures during setup/trials
· This position will cover Region 1 (TMMK/Vendor) – Engage in travel (or dispatch) to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

What You’ll be Doing:
· Confirm equipment meets Assembly requirement for Safety, Quality, Operation and Maintainability
· Provide technical skilled support for project work to engineers
· Provide team member training – maintenance, production and engineering
· Review and confirm drawings to insure they meet specification and standards
· Confirm PLC programs meet safety, quality, & productivity standards.
· Debug PLC programs Support new technology development and deployment
· Level up vendors to ensure high quality equipment
Requirement:
· Looking for someone who can commit and stay for long term
· General working hours are Mon – Fri 7 am – 4 pm, i.e., 40-hour week but should be flexible to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts 60-70 hours often happens during long weekend’s/shutdowns, etc.
· Should have worked in Maintenance/manufacturing factories or industries with proficiency in Robotics, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC Programming, and Troubleshooting of Equipment.
· Should also possess strong MS Office; strong computer skills.
· If there is no experience, then it is preferred applicant to be recently out of Technical school or college.
· Should know how to work with hand tools and machinery.
· Robotic welding is a primary job, but experience with it is not preferred, if the applicant is recently graduated from college
· Electrical and controls experience is a plus
· College degree in Industrial maintenance, industrial electronics, industrial engineering technologies, BASC, BSME, AET, AIT, AT, BEE, BSE, BSET, etc. (Or equivalent work experience, in Industrial maintenance field)
What you bring
· Technical degree/diploma or completion of trade school program (example: EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience
· JL14 Level: Minimum of 2 years’ experience programming/troubleshooting PLC logic and experience in multi-skilled industrial maintenance or PE seibi
· JL15 Level: Minimum of 4 years’ experience programming/troubleshooting PLC logic and experience in multi-skilled industrial maintenance or PE seibi experience
· High technical skill & ability to lead/ train others. Ability & willingness to work 20% overtime, including 12-hours shifts, weekend work and shutdown/holiday support.
· Ability to work flexible shifts as needed to support project work Ability & willingness to travel up to 50%, domestically and internationally This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required Legal authorization to work in Canada
