Kandy is a full-service, white label cloud communications solution provider recently acquired by AVCtechnologies (Dec 2020). Kandy provides white labeled, cloud based multi-tenant service offerings to service providers, value added resellers, enterprises and public sector customers. These include Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) offerings. With Kandy, companies of all sizes and types can quickly embed real-time communications capabilities into their existing applications and business processes.

We’re looking for a Software Engineering Specialist to join an expanding team delivering a user centric solution providing a full set of unified communication (UC) services such as voice, video, messaging, presence and sharing. The work involves developing desktop and mobile clients that integrates withing Ribbon’s Kandy Cloud Solutions and third parties’ solution. The position reports to the Director of Client Solution Development and is responsible for the definition, development and integration of clients or client adaptors into UC solutions. You will work closely with a local team as well as engaging multiple technical teams and vendors in a highly dynamic environment. You will need a high degree of technical expertise in web development tools and technology, with the ability to quickly learn new skills. You will need to show innovation and initiative to come up with creative solutions.

Responsibilities:
Investigate, analyze and recommend implementation and integration options to deliver the desired user experience.

Define and implement UI/UX clients, working with UI specialists and customers

Define and implement the required backend infrastructure .

Integrate client and backend infrastructure with other products and solutions

Identify and help manage dependencies for the project success.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand goals, requirements, and scope of work.

Ensure alignment with cross-functional teams and mitigate challenges to achieve product development milestones.

Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a very dynamic, fact paced environment.

Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications:
Strong technical background in web development technology and tools

Experience in VoIP Telephony, WebRTC, client development; iOS, Android, Windows, Mac platforms

Experience in Microsoft products, technology and tools

Experience in an Agile environment.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Ability to innovate
