Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Software Developer to join our Issuer Services team based in the US. Our team supports all of Georgeson’s global market teams to continuously deliver new technology for innovation and product growth. Our mandate is a global system to automate workflow, synthesize multiple data channels, and to make market-specific data available globally to all regional teams.

A role you will love

As a Developer you will help develop high quality, secure, stable and reliable software in close collaboration with other members in an Agile development team. In addition, you will be mentored to promote innovation and gain knowledge of industry best practices.

Note: Working hours for this role are 4 PM to midnight EST in order to help support our non-US user base from the US, the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Write high quality, clean code which adheres to internal architectural, quality and security standards.

• Adhere to our branching, release and versioning strategy to optimise the team’s ability to respond to change and frequently deliver high quality, working software.
• Apply best practices and contribute to the development of enhanced/innovative working.

What will you bring to the role?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in .Net application development.
• Working experience in all layers of application development: front end, middle layer and database.
• Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft technologies: ASP.NET MVC, C# Programming language, Linq, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server.
• Very strong skills in client-side languages using Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
• Comfort working in agile environment using iterative release management methodologies.
• Experience developing console applications to process large data feeds in XML/Excel/flat file formats.

Compensation. $90,000 – $135,000 per year USD, depending on experience.
