A role you will love

As one of our Application Support Analysts, you will be responsible for the triaging and resolving of software support issues, often coordinating the involvement of multiple technology teams. You will be a part of our Global CTO group and responsible for supporting, maintaining, and managing the application portfolio utilized by the Computershare business and customers.

You will work closely with the Service Management and Development teams, utilizing the core ITIL principles in Change, Release, Incident and Problem management as well as supporting the successful delivery of new services/applications into the production environment. This role will require rotational off hour on-call duties.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Triage and resolve software application issues, including software debugging, analyzing performance and data anomalies, and coordinating fixes
• Work with development and infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors to determine the root cause of issues
• Assist in resolution of product issues through client/customer education
• Develop automated processes to replace manual tasks and reduce associated risks
• Support key business events and data migrations
• Document and implement problem items as part of the Problem Management process
• Analyze support enquiries to identify recurring user problems, recommend solutions and identify areas where support services can be improved
• Suggest ways to improve existing processes and/or create additional ones to improve quality and efficiency

What will you bring to the role?

• Experience in a relevant Business or IT related support role
• Analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills – written and verbal, with a high attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders to understand problems and working through proposed solutions
• Good working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience with Web technologies or similar (HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Web Services)
