Compugen Inc Hiring for IT Technician – Contract at Vancouver, BC Full Time
Compugen is currently looking for an IT Technician for a 4 – 5 week contract starting the 1st week of September to assist with the deployment of new hardware and peripherals.
Responsibilities:
Support Desktop, Laptops, tablets and peripherals following deployment documentation and checklists
Test for nominal operation of devices post-deployment
Troubleshoot to identify and resolve root cause of hardware or software malfunctions at the desk-side level
Follow documentation and direction, as required
Provide proper and prompt updates to project documentation
Occasional travel from site to site
Qualifications:
1+ years’ experience imaging, deploying, troubleshooting and upgrading desktops, laptops and tablets
Previous experience completing complex Installs, moves, adds, changes of computer equipment
Windows Operating System proficiency with Windows 10
Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
A+ Certification an asset
