JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a professional level position responsible for a full-cycle recruiting process, consisting in part of preparation, sourcing, screening, selection and hiring.
They will conduct the initial interview process and conduct on-site tours of prospective employees that will fit the pre-determined needs of the company and individual departments.
On a daily basis, this position will coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria.
A key aspect of this position is the sourcing of potential candidates through online channels, such as social platforms and professional networks.
This position will work alongside an experienced recruiting team that will allow continuous interaction of techniques, policy, and procedures within the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administer a full cycle recruiting process :
a. Promotion : Create job postings and utilize other creative measures to communicate open positions.
b. Sourcing : Identify external candidate pipelines in alignment with each identified position.
c. Screening : Review resumes and conduct phone screening to match the proper level of qualifications of the candidate to the open position.
d. Interviewing : Administer assessments, provide facility tours, interview, and participate in the selection process with the hiring team.
e. On-Boarding : Create offer letters, extend offers, conduct background checks, validate references and other pre-employment requirements.
2. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
3. Use recruitment tools, such as an applicant tracking system (Lever), third party databases, social media channels, and similar.
4. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, career fairs and internet sites.
5. Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards.
6. Maintain a level of currency on new and developing sourcing avenues.
7. Coordinate on-site interviews, candidate travel, evaluation, and documentation of interview feedback, as well as completion of all requirements.
8. Effective collaboration with the Human Resource (HR) team relating to processes, that ensures a seamless hiring of new employees.
9. Act as an agent of the organization, (CRT) whose mission is to raise brand awareness, which ultimately increases our candidate pool.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field or an equivalent level of job experience in a full cycle recruiting process.
2. Three to five years’ experience in the field of recruitment in a manufacturing environment.
3. Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
4. Previous experience or knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
1. An understanding of various positions within a manufacturing company.
2. Experience in a FAA or DOT industry desired.
3. Recruitment experience in the military and college areas.
4. A knowledge of employment and labor laws.
5. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
1. Follow general shop safety procedures including the occasional use of safety glasses and hearing protection, during site tours to applicants.
2. Travel requirements (local travel) of approximately five percent of schedule.
3. Work location is Mentor, OH (On-site / In-person)
4. Schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional evening or Saturday recruiting events.
