About the Position

Our technology team strives to create solutions, but also thrives in an environment of constant learning and improvement so every day is unique and challenging. Work is performed primarily in Visual Studio 2019 with an assortment of companion productivity and coding quality tools. C# skills are exercised and honed continuously on the job, as is HTML, JavaScript, and some light CSS work. There is an ample mixture of new feature work, as well as bug fixes and enhancements on an established product. The Jira platform and companion plugins are utilized to form the backbone of the team’s Agile processes.

About You

You work well in a team environment and enjoy the support and shared learning experience from a group of peers who are just as jazzed about technology as you are. You can work as a team, often pair or group programming. You also like to work autonomously and have a lot of freedom to be creative and inventive. While you have ample experience with the below technologies, you are constantly learning new tricks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product owners and project managers to deliver solutions that meet client needs

• Design and develop new features and improvements to our web application

• Work as a team and review code with other developers

• Participate in scrum meetings to estimate future work, showcase completed work, and improve our processes

• Create documentation for new features

• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests

• Work closely with our QA team to understand and fix issues

• Triage issues elevated by our client support team

• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in computer science or related field preferred

• Knowledge and experience in .NET, Visual Studio, C#, and Git

• Experience building relational databases, preferably in MS SQL Server

• Knowledge of Kendo UI, jQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js preferred

• Knowledge of SOLID principles, MVC architecture and Entity Framework is required

• Experience building and supporting various APIs, including mobile services a plus, but not required

• Java experience a plus, but not required
