Staff Accountant – Accounting Degree required

• General ledger accounting knowledge is required
• Perform a variety of support activities in maintaining the financial, statistical, and accounting records within the credit union.
• Follow detailed and standardized procedures in performing routine accounting operations.
• Prepare financial, regulatory, and special reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger for various accounts.
• Maintain working knowledge of various accounting software programs such as Microsoft Excel.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in an accounting or business office preferred
• 3-5 years experience in accounting or business office or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance related
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
