Overview of Position
This position requires a few different job tasks. The individual will be responsible for our providers credentialing. In credentialing you will be responsible for processing all tasks related to payor enrollment for entities and individual providers – including new credentialing, CAQH maintenance, internal database management and ing. Responsible for processing credentialing and recredentialing applications and/or enrollments of health care providers, responsible for entering, updating, maintaining NPI and any other applicable provider numbers into the system. Reviews applications, prepares verification letters and maintains database. Contacts licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and recredentialing applications. This position will require collecting money from patients and working through AR s on a daily basis, reaching out to those whose accounts are in arears, and offering payment plans to resolve their balances, as well as collecting a current credit card on file for patient payments. This position will require answering phones for the practice, booking appointments for providers, and taking care of daily front desk tasks. Willing to train the right individual. Need to be highly organized in a busy practice of 30 providers, customer service oriented, eager to learn and engage in anything, self-motivated, and dependable. Duties and responsibilities in this job

• Complete the processes to credential practitioners and entities to meet payer criteria.
• Enroll clients with participating insurances.
• Input information to credentialing software in order to have most current data.
• Maintain filing of all necessary credentialing documentation.
• Follow up with clients and insurances in accordance with established guidelines for all credentialing assignments.
• Communicate client issues with management at an early stage.
• Be able to clearly and effectively communicate with practitioners of all specialties and insurance companies handling basic questions dealing with the day-to-day operation of credentialing and enrollments.
• Have prompt response time to voice mail, email and other requests whether it is from supervisors, co-workers or clients.
• Have professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well under difficult circumstances and tight timelines.
• Know how to prioritize throughout the day as workflow changes.
• Perform all other tasks as requested by management.
• Ability to communicate professionally (grammar and composition) with internal and external clients.
• Able to read/listen to directions and follow them precisely.
• Able to meet productivity standards outlined in department metrics.
• Scheduling for 30 psychiatric and therapy providers
• Able to take difficult calls from patients who are mentally and behaviorally challenged
• Pay attention to details and able to work in an extremely busy practice.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Required: Education High School or GED Preferred: Associates Degree in related field
• 1-3 years office work experience
• Credentialing Experience a plus but not required
• At least an intermediate proficiency of Office 365 products, especially Excel and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
