Women’s Apparel Company is looking for an organized motivated Technical Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in apparel technical design concepts, practices, and procedures. Position is primarily responsible for ensuring quality, fit, desired appearance, and meeting requirements of key private label customer

Key Responsibilities:      

• Ability to conduct fit sessions, make detailed fit comments, and communicate effectively to overseas factories
• Ability to identify fit problems and provide solution
• Requires interface with private label customer

Critical Skills:

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator software, Window, Excel, and Word
• Good understanding of garment construction
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Patternmaking background is a plus

Education and Experience:

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in fashion design, comparable program, or equivalent work experience
• 5 years relevant experience.
