Complete Care Hiring for Medical Assistant at Merritt Island, FL Full Time
Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. We are looking to fill a full-time positions in our Merritt Island clinics.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations
- Bring patients to exam rooms
- All Medical Assistants will be cross trained to cover front desk also
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Medical Assisting
- Familiarity with prior authorization procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer knowledge – knowledge of Athena a plus
