Hiring Range: $21.70 – $27.13

Compassion’s Fellowship program is a 9-month (September-May) opportunity for recent graduates and early career professionals to join innovative teams at Compassion in working on new and exciting projects in the organization. Fellows are entry-level contributors who are developed over these 9-months to be equipped to take the lead on projects in the future. Each Fellow is paired with a mentor who will offer them 1:1 coaching throughout this season with Compassion. They will also participate in various professional development opportunities such as conferences with other organizations, Q&A times with innovative Thought-Leaders at Compassion, and understanding their strengths and contributions in the workforce.
Overview
Compassion is looking for a recent college graduate or early career professional to be a part of an exciting 9-month fellowship as a Global Talent Acquisition Fellow. This fellow will work in the People & Culture department with the Talent Acquisition team to manage projects, assist with hiring needs, and coordinate aspects of Compassion’s spring and summer internship programs. The dates of this full-time, temporary role are August 29, 2022 to May 26, 2023. This is a remote opportunity.
What will you do?
  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

  • Manage Talent Acquisition projects for both US and Global needs.
  • May assist with and source diverse, quality candidates gathered through networking, community relationship building, and direct sourcing for basic positions as determined by the business goals.
  • Lead projects related to candidate experience, representing Compassion’s brand and culture to candidates throughout the process of recruitment. Accomplished, in part, by timely communication, sensitivity to candidates’ job search, and strict compliance with policy and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through advertising and relationship management.
  • Proactively coordinate with management, HR Business Partner team, and Talent Acquisition Team to understand short-term and long-term forecasts, in order to design a sourcing and recruitment strategy for assigned paraprofessional and support positions.
  • Coordinate logistics for Compassion’s spring and summer internship programs, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and scheduling.
  • Research and manage recruitment marketing efforts through Compassion’s LinkedIn page.
