Role Description

Compass IoT is seeking a casual Junior Content Creator in our Sydney, NSW office, for 2 days a week. We’re planning for this role to start in late January 2024 – it is a paid role.

The Junior Content Creator will assist in creating and implementing a content strategy that engages our clients and inspires them to act. The Junior Content Creator will also work collaboratively with our Marketing team to brainstorm and generate fresh content ideas, ensuring that all content is consistent with Compass IoT’s brand voice and identity.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. This is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and clarity of expression. We often have to transform complex data analysis into accessible stories and distill the value for customer.
• Proficiency with content management systems – Canva and Adobe experience is a plus
• We value strong communication skills across teams. This role will have you communicating with almost every other team at Compass across Sales, Data Science, and Product.
• Ability to self-direct and manage multiple tasks with a fair level of ambiguity
• Interest in transport, smart cities, and data is a plus
• Experience with Linkedin content and EDMs is a plus

• 2 days a week – Fridays are our compulsory team day and everyone is expected to be in the office
• While this role is labelled as hybrid, we strongly encourage casuals and new staff in particular to come into the office at least 2x a week. We move pretty fast as a company; there is often an enormous difference in the speed of learning for those who come into the office regularly vs those who do not.
