Suitable for a part-qualified account to assist delivering financial and commercial support to the allocated Business sector. Through effective analytics and business partnering, the role will support key Finance and Operational stakeholders

Reporting into the Assistant Finance Manager as part of a small and dynamic team, you will play a key role in Business Partnering Group Managers to drive the Catering and Soft Service business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed monthly files and reconciliations
• Help oversee and manage individual accounts
• Support in resolution of debt queries
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Management of queries inbox; resolving wide ranging queries for the operational support team

Additional Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying risks and escalating to the respective manager and taking ownership of the resolution of the issues
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees
• Preparation of allocated month end journals and monthly reports
• Ownership of a number of Finance Accounting activities
• Support any annual and ad-hoc financial accounting requirements for the organisation
• Liaise with clients to resolve any queries and build relationships
• Continually review and improve processes to ensure an efficient approach
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process

Who you are:

We are seeking a candidate who will enjoy being part of a small team and will become an integral part of this team. A self starter, someone that wants to learn and be developed.

• Part-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with varied experience in accounting roles, or university graduate
• If you have experience in the food service industry that’s a bonus
• Analytical and with a high level of attention to detail
