Our tech team is fundamental to our success and we are looking to grow the team team, both in the Home Digital and Energy sectors. We have several vacancies and are looking for a range of experience.

Who we are looking for

We look for the following attributes in every Software Engineer which we hire:

Experience developing full stack web applications in/on AWS (Docker, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, etc)

• A passion to write well-structured, idiomatic, tested code that balances elegance and pragmatism
• An everything as code mentality in which everything is as automated as possible (CI, CD, etc.)
• The confidence to be able to handle tech debt combined with the judgement to know when to refactor
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and emergent priorities in an agile and flexible way
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within your team

We predominantly have two tech stacks. In Energy, we have a .NET Core stack so we look for engineers who have C#/.NETand JS experience. In Home Digital, we have a mix of PHP and full-stack JS/TS.

Depending on the team youre interested in joining, you need to have the right technical expertise to dive right in and have the confidence quickly get oriented and self-start with minimal hand-holding.
