Requirements for role:

· Diploma qualified or Bachelor of Education

· Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma

· Current WWCC (employee)

· Covid-19 immunisation (including booster)

· Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework

· KindyHub knowledge an advantage

· At least 3 years’ experience in a Lead Educator or Room Leader role

· Experience and confidence with guiding written documentation in relation to children’s learning and development

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to lead by example

Position Objectives:

· To guide the planning of an education program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age.

· To lead other educators, families and early childcare professionals to provide a safe, caring, engaging and stimulating environment for children attending the service.

Salary: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
