Commonwealth of PA Hiring for Education Certification Evaluator Job at Dauphin, PA Full Time

Conduct evaluations of applications by using specific evaluations guidelines for the various types of certification for initial licensure of professional, educational institutional and business. Evaluate professional applicants education, experience or certificate qualifications for initial licensure.

Evaluates and makes determination when candidates for licensure are eligible for reduced experience due to number of semester credits on transcripts and/or degree.

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with a 1 hour lunch.
• 
  Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
• 
  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of clerical experience with three months experience in direct data entry/retrieval on a computer terminal and six months experience with educational credential certification laws, rules, and regulations; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
