Talent Acquisition is responsible for the strategic and operational planning and execution of all recruitment activity within CBA. We support business leaders to attract, select and hire the best talent to meet the Group’s current and future workforce needs.

About the Opportunity

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, your role is responsible for improving and deepening the strategic sourcing capability across the Finance teams and building pipelines of high potential active and passive talent.

You will deliver value through:

• Identify, cultivate, source and engage the right talent to support our Finance, Audit and Treasury Portfolio

• Building talent pools and enabling career mobility for our employees

• Minimising the risks and costs associated with recruiting talent

• Act as an employer brand ambassador for the CommBank Group, promoting our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to competitively differentiate CommBank in the talent market

• Identify and implement a variety of bespoke sourcing channels, attracting and pipelining talent to meet the businesses’ current and future workforce needs, with a focus on social media and the passive talent market

• Proactively build and maintain talent pools for critical roles within your business, delivering excellent candidate care, and with a focus on quality and best fit

• Partner with preferred external partners that further supplement the talent needs of the Bank

• Collaborate with the wider TA community to support key projects and initiatives aligned to our Group TA Strategy

What will help you succeed?

• You are an experienced sourcing professional within an in-house (preferably), on-site, or agency environment

• You have experience sourcing for Finance, Audit and / or Treasury roles in the past

• You have a solid understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter

• You are adept in the use of technical assessment methodologies as a tool to supporting hiring decisions

• You have an impressive track record of leveraging a variety of sourcing channels to attract diverse talent, including search methodologies using social and professional networks

• You are highly efficient and adept at balancing various priorities to deliver on key business outcomes in a team environment

• You will collaborate closely across a large Talent Acquisition community to continuously improve our service offering and execution in all of these areas.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
