Indigenous Careers delivers a concierge candidate experience to First Nations talent, building suitable career pathways and executing our Reconciliation Action Plan People deliverables

As the Talent Acquisition Manager for Indigenous Careers, your key focus is to implement strategies that support the Group to meet our public commitment to Indigenous representation parity delivering the Reconciliation Action Plan through a high performing team
This unique leadership role delivers not only people management but also the opportunity to execute strategy, drive projects, manage budgets and regularly engage leaders at Group Executives and EGM level as well as build critical relationships with First Nation communities.
You will deliver value through:
Leading a high performing Indigenous Careers team, with a strong and passionate focus on their development and growth
Enhancing the Group’s reputation, culture and brand
Engaging communities to enhance the Group’s ability to support careers for Indigenous talent.
Developing recruitment best practices which support the organisation’s goals and direction.
Leveraging data to influence and constructively challenge leaders on recruitment strategies which meet public diversity commitments. .
Collaborate closely across a large Talent Acquisition community to design and implement projects that further enhance the offering of our function.
Influence executive stakeholders, collaborate with GCA and Group I&D and manage external vendors to maximise the impact recruitment can have on Group targets.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Demonstrated success in a leadership recruitment or HR role, with proven people management experience
Dedication to delivering diversity outcomes and an ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive change
Developed strategies to achieve goals, can operationalise ideas and are able to work with ambiguity
A track record of managing projects to tight deadlines and budgets
Experience with Workday and Avature would be an advantage
Deep understanding of Indigenous communities and culture
