Commonwealth Bank Hiring for Social Media Manager at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Social Media Manager is an exciting position within one of the leading social teams in the country. The role is best suited to someone who is equally comfortable creating content and managing stakeholders. You’ll be working as part of a talented social team, with access to production experts to create best in class social content.

The role is crucial to the overall success of our team through the ability to manage key content programs, create engaging content and provide insights from our channels to help with continual uplift of social within the business.

The Social Media team is primarily responsible for:

• Day to day execution of the organic social media strategy
• Oversee the creation and management of social content for CommBank channels
• Aid in the implementation of the social employee advocacy and influencer programs
• Policy and governance for the Group

This role s to the Executive Manager, Social Media.

On any given time, you will:

• Support the execution of our social strategy across multiple social channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Develop and implement engaging social content end to end – from content creation, to measurement and ing.
• Supporting cross-functional stakeholders to bring business priorities to life in a ‘socially optimised’ way.
• Share ownership of our risk controls and relationship with relevant stakeholders across employee advocacy, influencer marketing and Always On content programs
• Use analytics tools to measure and generate s for all social activity, including employee advocacy.
• Support in the training of colleagues in social best practice, including influencer and social media employee advocacy training / workshop series.
• Identify emerging trends within social media, to help enhance content engagement and experience through our social channels.
• Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media programs.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

• Understanding of CBA Vision and Values to effectively drive positive customer and brand outcomes.
• Flair for creative writing and content creation
• Strong critical, analytical skills
• Experience in social media management and content management
• Experience in building and engaging online communities, marketing or similar field
• Build internal and external relationships and influence others
• Outstanding time management, organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
