Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, general procurement and property.

FS Chief Operating Office team is responsible for Transformation, FSLT support, Group Simplification/Cost Reduction, DCEO Finance, Finance Systems & Control and other accountabilities.
As part of the FS Transformation team, the purpose of this role is to develop and drive the FS Transformation financial control:
Key duties will include:
  • Financial control including balance sheet attestation, P&L review, receivables aging & oversight, etc
  • Oversight of invoicing & receipting of funds with appropriate segregation of duties
  • Operational risk and compliance profiles of managing a ~$150m receivables per annum
  • Business partnering with Transition Service Centre
  • Business partnering with DCEO Tech & Divestment Management Team
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
  • Accounting or Audit experience
  • Legal knowledge (contracts) for Transitional Service Agreements
  • Strong financial control disciplines
  • Proven track-record of productivity and efficiency gains
  • Ability to multi task, manage and meet deadlines
  • Proven team work and contribution to team-wide projects and deliverables
  • Excellent PC skills, in particular Excel
