Within the Global Financial Control team, your team is responsible for maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and Property assets within SAP and Peoplesoft.
Key duties will include:

Financial control of Balance Sheet accounts with fortnightly/monthly processes such as the preparation of manual journals, maintaining the fixed asset register, and overseeing the hygiene of data between Source Systems and PeopleSoft Financials.

Oversee the Finance Assets group mailbox and attend to any asset related enquiries

Provide analytical support to other Financial Services teams in relation to the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and CBA Property.

Perform reconciliations in line with Group Reconciliation Policy including effective liaison with Business Unit/Financial Controllers for clearance of discrepancies in a timely manner

Support the Manager with responding to Audit queries
We’re interested in hearing from people who have

Tertiary qualification in business, finance, accounting or a related discipline
-
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
-
Strong problem solving, influencing and communication skills
-
Diligent and attentional to details
-
Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.

CA/CPA professional qualification, or undertaking
-
Experience in PeopleSoft Financials, Hyperion Essbase and/or SQL (desirable)
