Commando’s Finance team is growing! We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our Finance team! The ideal candidate will be thorough and attentive with the ability to work independently and with a team. The Accountant will participate in end of month closings as well as support the Finance team with various duties.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Assist in all aspects of the general ledger and reconcile accounts for monthly and annual closing
• Ensure quality and accuracy of monthly inventory reporting including cost variance analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all US and International applicable tax filings
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Review ledger level transactions for opportunities to cut costs and optimize operations for better financial results
• Partner closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure proper review for month-end
• Provide assistance in problem resolution
• Research, reporting, and support to Controller as needed
• Assist with key financial activities and processes

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years equivalent experience (apparel manufacturing a plus)
• Proficient in accounting principles, understand finance concepts and cash management
• Knowledge of International taxation, duties, etc. for B2C & B2B shipments a plus
• Proficiency with computers, especially excel, experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus
• Strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with confidential material and act with discretion
• Maturity and ability to work independently and as a team player
