It has been a whirlwind of a year, isolation has influenced technology usage to a new level. We have been working relentlessly to support businesses throughout the pandemic which has resulted in a higher demand for our software solutions and support.

To support our new and existing customers we have identified the need for a junior website developer to join our team.

Working on the front end, your focus will be on coding up designs and integrating them into our platform using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You will also assist our support team with tasks including importing data, troubleshooting, and resolving platform issues.

The role will be based in our modern Bridgend Head Office where you will be working in a small team developing high quality ecommerce solutions. You’ll share responsibilities across the entire web development life cycle including:

• Advising the design team as to the technical feasibility of design requirements

• Ensuring your code is cross browser compatible and developed with SEO in mind

• Providing HTML & CSS which matches the signed off designs

• Identifying and fixing bugs as required

• Assisting the support team by fixing and addresses customer queries

You’ll have a passion for developing websites and coding and are likely to be looking for your first development position.

Skills and Requirements

Required:

You will have a good knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript and demonstrate a passion for development.

You will be able to showcase the following skills:

• HTML5

• CSS

• jQuery

• JavaScript

• Cross browser / QA testing

Desirable:

The following skills are desirable but not essential for the role:

• ASP.Net 3.5+

• IIS configuration

• MSSQL

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £19,200.00 per year
