The Assistant Accountant’s primary purpose is to ensure Comestri’s finance processes are managed effectively.

• Allocate customer receipts and reconcile bank accounts
• Enter supplier invoices and employee expense claims and submit for payment
• Answer any customer queries or redirect to appropriate person
• Process credit notes when requested and approved
• Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
• Reconcile where needed and chase payment of outstanding invoices
• Provide administrative support to management as requested
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly billing – preparing and sending invoices for support and project work
• Manage Flow licence renewals
• Update monthly repeating Comestri licence fees
• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Prior experience with the general finance, including month end close and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable
• Exposure and an understanding of processing payroll (nice to have)
• Experience in a small to medium sized business
• Advance level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite of applications
• Education in accounting
