Assistant Director of Finance
We are looking for an Assistant Finance Director to help with the financial aspects of our non-profit and related entities, to drive financial success, reporting and planning. You would serve as a vital team member in all aspects of accounting, HR, benefits, and asset management. The goal is to help establish an environment of long-term success for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
• Process transactions for company expenditures.
• Maintain the general ledger and subledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and suspense accounts.
• Assist in preparation for external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Develop procedures to improve existing systems, including analysis of other systems.
• Assist with procurement of equipment and or services for the organization.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll procedures and controls.
• Support other divisions with reporting data and reports.
• Provide corporate record keeping for the organization.
• Prepare and present financial educational materials (internal and external).
• Integrate stakeholders interests in changes, upgrades, and communication.

Skills

• Proven experience in the financial field
• Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• An analytical mind with strategic ability
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus

Current work conditions are a hybrid combination; work week split between office and work remote. Downtown office location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 – $73,000.00 per year
