As a Jr. Application Specialist you will work closely with the company’s employees in order to provide daily end user support, training, and assist in the creation of training material for the Project Management application. Additionally, the Application Specialist will assist with software implementations, upgrades and system improvement. This position will also interface with 3rd party software providers in implementing and supporting additional software solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build productive relationships with team and managers.
• Enhance End User confidence through providing excellent software support and training, open communication, and an understanding of applications in use.
• Identify, investigate and resolve End User application issues.
• Responsible for the user profile changes and new employee profile creation in the PM Application
• Work with End Users and Managers to improve training and user guides for commonly asked questions.
• Work closely with the SME on various projects relating to the ERP system and end users
• Assist with documentation for end users training on the PM Application System
• Assist with the application system upgrades and installations
• Interact with third party software support structure for efficient and successful software application utilization.
• Maintains knowledge of construction technology innovations and trends.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• General knowledge of Industrial construction, technical aspects, administration, and project management of all phases of Industrial Design Build projects.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise information systems, databases, and administration.
• Help desk, End User support, End User training experience.
• Successfully work in a remote or multi-site/ time zone support environment.
• Ability to work with a team to solve complex problems and consider proposed solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all parties in written and oral form.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES:

• Minimum 1-3 years of troubleshooting CMiC applications or comparable ERP software, as well as training and development programs/modules for the Construction industry.
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners at varying experience levels.
• Proficient in CMiC or similar ERP Accounting and Project Management Applications, Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project, Bluebeam.
• Well-versed in software instruction to adult learners in a professional setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL:

• Ability to travel to our offices/satellite offices as needed to train employees on the Project Management (PM) Applications (25% estimated).
• Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
• Work at a desk or computer screen with keyboard for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
