As the Talent Acquisition Pod Lead you will partner with the Sr Manager of Talent Acquisition to develop recruiting plans for the Supply Chain organization. Your role will be part Talent Acquisition Partner, and part Pod Lead. As a Talent partner you will be responsible for generating talent leads through strong sourcing capabilities, and innovative and creative approaches to attract and hire diverse talent. You will perform as a talent consultant, driving hiring manager and HR business engagement and partnerships with the goal of hiring top talent to meet CSC’s business goals. You will also manage engagements with outside search firms for executive level recruitment.
You will be accountable for exercising business acumen, and keeping pace with market trends related to product design, development, merchandising and sales. Accountability includes managing the business group workforce plans, evaluating talent acquisition progress to plan, and overseeing the requisition load for the pod.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Understand and recruit across Supply Chain skill sets and initiatives
Partner with hiring managers, HR partners, and the Director of Talent Management to develop, operationalize, and execute recruitment and hiring strategies designed to attract and engage quality hires
Maintain regular communication with business group leaders and hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, evolving plans per the needs of the business
Educate business and hiring teams on the value of Talent partnerships within a competitive landscape
Champion Recruiting best practices, and implement and evangelize initiatives to drive recruiting process efficiency, brand and candidate experience, and quality hires
WFP (agile forecasting) – Collaborate on hiring forecasts with the business, track progress to plan, manage frozen/eliminated requisitions, run Talent QBR
Run DEI metrics for Pod and regularly attend DEI focused events in partnership with the business
Hands on recruiting 60%, 40% pod responsibilities
YOU ARE
A strong talent partner, able to collaborate, consult, and gain trust quickly across all levels of the organization
An adept presenter, comfortable communicating talent details and metrics to senior leadership
A proven recruiter with strong lead generation skills, and the ability to develop recruiting plans for hard-to-fill requisitions
Corporate recruiting savvy, with an interest and curiosity in market trends and industry advancements
Focused on continuous improvement and success, maintaining high standards for TA pod performance
A positive force, driven to mentor through enthusiasm, knowledge sharing and constructive feedback
YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or other related field, or equivalent work experience
8+ years Recruiting/TA experience
Demonstrated experience conducting Talent focused Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and maintaining monthly hiring forecast across business units
A track record of strong HR Business Partner partnership, and Compensation review and collaboration
The ability and interest to further talent networks, and participate in virtual and/or in-person events
Leadership experience – highly preferred
