Columbia Elevator Hiring for Junior Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

This is a HYBRID position with 1 day required per week in office.

The Junior Staff Accountant position is responsible for supporting the finance department and ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial activities including customer invoicing, processing of customer change orders and completing monthly bank reconciliations
• Support A/R collections including communication to customers and providing back up support for various critical accounting functions
• Review G/L accounts to ensure accuracy and perform analysis by creating and using database and spreadsheet tools to support the maintenance of financial records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent number of years’ experience required
• 5+ years of General and A/R Accounting experience
• Must be able to take direction, receive constructive criticism and be self-motivated
• Show willingness for continued learning and growth within the department

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
