About The Role

Designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes;

investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.

• Coordinates with other engineers to improve CI / CD and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop a shared technology roadmap based on business needs.
• Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the company.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.
• Design, maintain, and implement automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years work in website / software developer, engineer, or related position.
• Proficient C# / .NET / .Net Core.
• Proficient in JavaScript and a modern front-end framework such as Vue, React, or Angular (preferably Vue).
• Proficient with ORM’s such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Experience with SQL databases preferably SQL Server.
• Experience creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs with strong knowledge of REST standards.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, (financial services industry preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent follow-up.
• Able to plan projects including breaking down user requirements into design documentation or work items.

COMPENSATION (DOE)

• $90,000.00-130,000.00 / year
• Senior Software Engineer candidates will demonstrate additional levels of experience, proficiency and education along with relevant industry experience.
