Job Summary:

Provide a well-rounded, God glorifying education to students by equipping future leaders with academic excellence, a biblical world view and Christ-like character.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Prepare daily lesson plans and teaching materials

• Agree to and adhere the schools statement of faith
• Maintain a warm, nurturing, and organized learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and families about their children’s learning
• Fulfill administrative duties (e.g., taking attendance, attending staff meetings, etc.)
• Monitor transitions, lunch, recess blocks, and other coverages, as needed
• Manage student behavior
• Evaluate each students’ progress
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to drive instructional planning, monitor student learning, and provide feedback to students
• Utilize educational technology and other innovative resources to drive student learning
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree

-Three years of early childhood classroom teaching experience

– Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
