Colquitt Regional Medical Center Hiring for Education-Clinical Staff Educator at Moultrie, GA Full Time
The clinical staff educator is responsible for assessment, development, implementation, and coordination of nursing education needs/requirements of all departments.
The clinical educator will design educational programs and curricula, providing training to clinical staff, and evaluating research to continuously improve clinical practice.
Develop and continuously improve lesson plans and provide training to clinical staff. Incorporate evidence-based research into educational plans and clinical practice.
Serve as a mentor to nurses, and identify growth opportunities and educational needs for practicing nurses.
Promote critical thinking among nurses, and show commitment to professional development and lifelong learning. Maintain current knowledge of trends in area of expertise.
Must possess excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Experience working with online research, hospital policies, clinical competencies, and staff education.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Georgia Registered Nurse license.
BSN preferred (start BSN program within 6 months of hire).
Broad knowledge of nursing clinical skills with at least 5 years of experience in an acute care setting.
Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS/ALS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) Certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross or obtain certifications through Colquitt Regional Medical Center Educational Services upon hire.
