The Colorado State University Mountain Campus is located 53 miles west of Fort Collins, and is situated at 9,053 feet in a beautiful mountain valley on the northern boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. The campus serves as the site for university academic field programs and as a conference center for educational groups of all ages. The CSU Mountain Campus is remote and the conveniences of the city, including daily contact with friends, cell phone service and reliable internet are left behind. All employees live in housing provided by the University and NO pets are permitted.Â
A position at the Mountain Campus combines the positive attributes of summer camp work and on-campus employment. The staff develops into a team that works and lives together through the season. Most employees work a 35 — 40 hour work week, and get two days off each week. All employees are expected to take ownership in the well-being of the campus, its community and stewardship of the natural environment.
