Account Executive, Outbound Sales

Position Summary

The Account Executive, Outbound Sales, s to the Assistant Director of Inside and Outbound sales. This position will generate revenue through the sale of season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets, party facilities, suites, and all other ticketed inventory available at Coors Field.

Essential Responsibilities

• Outbound sales, new business development and renewals
• Sales inventory will include but is not limited to Season Tickets, Mini-Plans, Group Tickets, Suites, Premium Areas/Locations, Party Facilities, Conference Space, etc.
• Proactively develop new sales leads daily by cold calling companies, referrals, and networking
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales, productivity, and intangible goals
• Use our CRM to track all calls and provide detailed updates on lead lists, sales numbers, and overall progress
• Provide superior customer service to clients, existing ticket holders, prospects, and any inbound/referral calls

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with day-of-game and other special events
• Assist with the Season Ticket and Mini-Plan renewal process
• Other duties may change or be assigned as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or sports management, and/or combination of equivalent experience
• Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably with ticketing or within the sports and entertainment industry
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and throughout the community
• Organizational and time management skills with a results-oriented approach to the sales process
• Proficient computer skills including internet applications, CRM systems such as Salesforce, and ability to learn and master new software programs such as ticketing systems, Architcs.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Passion for nurturing positive and inclusive sales cultures and long-term growth of sales team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and weekends in-season

Working Conditions/Work Schedule

• Monday thru Friday; 8am to 5pm; This is a full-time onsite position at Coors Field
• Special game day duties may require weekend work and/or evening scheduling

Salary Range

• Approximate base compensation $42,000/year. In addition to the base pay, this role includes variable earned commissions as part of the compensation package providing a total compensation range of $55,000 – $70,000/year. Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate experience
• This is a regular status, full-time position eligible for all company benefits including but not limited to a comprehensive Health Insurance plan (medical, dental, vision), Retirement, and accrued time off (Vacation/ Sick/ Holiday)
