We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and experienced Early years manager with a love for the outdoors to lead and collaborate with our wonderful team of experienced and passionate staff.
The nursery is a unique community nursery established for nearly 60 years. It is a registered charity overseen by a management committee (MC) made up of parents. CGN provides a special setting on a conservation site, boasting a wild and magical outdoor garden space, in an historic part of central London. We pride ourselves on providing children with the opportunity to discover and develop their skills in an outdoor setting with a strong focus on forest school and environmental sustainability. The Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the EYP to ensure all areas of curriculum provision are covered a well as the operational running of the charity. In addition to include any SENCO or targeted plans to assist children’s developmental needs and work with local authorities to secure funding and additional support when needed. We are looking for an experienced Manager to help lead and drive the team to deliver excellent early years education. This role requires a strong, communicative, caring and experienced team leader who has a passion to continuously provide the best early years provision. Furthermore, is inspired by the ethos of Forest School, and is committed to the learning and development of both the staff and the children. We are a charity that has the potential to reach the wider community through regular events and parent led activities. The Manager is responsible for: working with the MC, the Deputy Manager and the Entire team to ensure all areas of curriculum provision are covered; and advising the MC of legal and educative requirements relating to nursery provision.
