What does the Global Head of Talent Development at Collinson do?

You will be working closely with the D&I team to drive awareness and create engaging training around D&I. You will play a key role in developing our people and organisational capabilities to support our business strategy. The role champions our learning & talent development agenda and continues to evolve the positive impact it has in supporting our business culture and success.

You will be responsible for developing and driving innovative blended learning solutions that are delivered through a combination of e-learning, face-to-face and virtually throughout our global business. This approach will form a key element of our People and Culture strategy

This role has accountability for the future development and direction of our existing internal talent development programmes and identifying the programmes that should be added to our exciting portfolio of offerings.

Building our management & leadership capabilities is a core focus for Collinson that requires a driven and highly credible professional to help us take this to the next level. This role will be involved in designing and delivering Collinson’s first-ever Leadership development programme for Exec level and senior leaders.

Working as an integral part of our global People & Culture team, it will be important to align talent development activities to the strategic aims of the broader function, helping to prepare for future changes that impact people and culture. In addition, it is important to balance long-term requirements with being able to support the more ad-hoc needs of the business such as team development, coaching and core talent development.

Working in partnership with the P&C Business Partners, Head of Talent Acquisition and Chief People Officer this is a highly visible role that requires a demonstrable level of passion, energy and focuses on helping to support our current demands and assess future capability requirements. There will be a requirement to be able to think strategically, and adopt a pragmatic approach to personally designing and delivering training as well as managing external partners.

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

• Head up and line manage the Talent Development team
• Ensure good development needs analysis is carried out and develop the talent development strategy across the business
• Ensure that there is a continued enhancement of our internal talent development programmes
• Design and deliver skills workshops to support the global Talent Management framework
• Facilitate internal conferences and senior leadership teams development workshops
• Align the Talent Development functions globally to ensure best practise and collaboration
• Develop evaluation methods to show ROI
• Consult, influence, coach and engage stakeholders to support talent development in the workplace
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Head of Talent Acquisition and Chief People Officer in the implementation & driving of Talent management proposition across the business globally
• Oversee the advancement of a blended learning approach across the group
• Design and facilitate leadership development programmes for the senior leadership community
• Co-facilitate big team events/meetings where necessary

• Proven experience in the design, delivery and implementation of complex projects and programmes
• Ideally Myers Briggs & DISC qualified
• Must have demonstrated the ability to develop a commercially focused talent development function across complex organisation structures
