About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and incredibly passionate HR professional to join our team in the position of Head of People & Performance – KFC. ing directly to the Chief People Officer and forming part of the HR senior leadership team, you will act as a business partner to our core KFC business leaders and our restaurant teams.

To support the continuous achievement of KFC’s goals, the main duties of this role will include:

• Providing support, coaching, advice and influence across the broad areas of HR to multiple stakeholders, from restaurant level teams through to the COO – KFC Australia.
• Working alongside the KFC Leadership team to provide strategic partnership and ensure a strong people vision.
• Influencing business decision-making to ensure HR issues and risks are considered systematically at earliest possible point.
• Coaching managers and helping them to drive unmatched people experiences and develop their teams by educating them on the people framework, tools and initiatives.
• Providing structure and guidance to the People Capability Leads nationally to deploy strategies to build bench and improve leadership capability.
• In collaboration with the HR senior leadership team, driving continuous improvement in all HR services and bringing expertise and thought leadership to the development of annual HR strategic plan.
• Deliver on the people vision through targeted initiatives, including strategic talent planning, change management and project delivery, underpinned by sound data driven insight.
• Providing best practice support, advice and guidance on people development and employee lifecycle related activities including
• Bench/succession planning
• People capability
• Performance management and reviews
• Annual talent identification and planning
• Remuneration reviews.
• Working collaboratively with other key HR functional areas, with the objective to support KFC Operations.

About You

As the Head of People & Performance – KFC, you will be a passionate and agile HR professional with a strong appetite to challenge the status quo. You will bring with you prior experience in a multi-site, retail or QSR environment, and have demonstrated experience in a similar HR senior leadership position.

Additionally, you will also have the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
• Post graduate qualifications in HR, Business or a related field (advantageous)
• Previous experience in managing and leading a nationally dispersed field-based team
• Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders.
