Job Purpose:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and consultative end-to-end recruitment service, whilst also having the opportunity to help shape and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for Actuation Systems UK, including ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the delivery of the end-to-end recruitment process, working in partnership with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, senior leaders and external suppliers where required.
Adept at managing high volume recruitment for multiple stakeholders within a complex matrixed organisation.
Conduct hiring manager briefing meetings to understand exact role requirements and inform hiring managers of the overall process to manage expectations to complete and objective process.
Conduct direct sourcing activity and create pipelines to connect with the best possible candidates
Review all job advertisements to ensure these reflect and support the businesses culture strategy
Be recognised as the SME for recruitment and advise to ensure the most appropriate channels and strategy is utilised
Be the SME for the recruitment module in Workday
Generate and ensure a robust assessment framework approach is in place with hiring managers for all recruitment delivered to ensure an equitable process takes place for both internal and external candidates.
Be the point of contact for external partners and suppliers on all aspects of the recruitment process
Create MI and supporting narrative to communicate the performance of talent acquisition against identified KPI’s and SLA’s
Use talent acquisition performance data to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the end-to-end recruitment process
Accountable for ensuring that the execution of the talent acquisition strategy maintains high levels of candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Provide training and coaching to hiring managers to ensure understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process
Provide recruitment expertise and market knowledge to HR Business Partners, Reward and Talent CoE’s to enable rounded strategy discussions
Support in shaping the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for Actuation Systems UK, working in partnership with the Early Year Careers Lead, ERG’s and Senior Leadership to ensure this supports and enables the overall culture strategy of the business
Job Holder Requirements:
Extensive relevant industry and technical experience to include:
Demonstrable background in the recruitment industry, gained preferably in-house within a large complex organisation. Manufacturing / Engineering experience also preferential
Resilient with the ability to manage stakeholders with competing demands whilst managing expectations
Experience of managing challenging conversations to achieve the desired outcome
Strong interpersonal capabilities including communication and influencing skills to articulately motivate and engage all stakeholders
Ability to influence and build strong business relationship with a diverse customer group
Knowledge of robust assessment frameworks and making assessment recommendations, for example aptitude testing and assessment centres
Must have external candidate attraction experience; networking and sourcing candidates and researching candidate pools via job boards, online databases, social media, alumni, referrals. A demonstrable knowledge of search techniques and subsequent hires using those techniques
Experience of lifecycle candidate management, from requisition through to offer management & contracting
Essential that you have experience of using applicant tracking systems and HR databases (ideally Workday) with a high level of data integrity
A high performer who thrives on challenges within a complex matrix-based organisation with global span
Continuous improvement mindset with a strong resolve to drive change and seek opportunity for improvements
Strong commercial bias, with experience of working in a commercial environment and contributing to decision making
Ability to make timely and effective decisions
Ability to work toward committed deadlines for effective delivery of key recruitment practices
