Job Description:

We are a startup college consulting service seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Manager with a focus on growth marketing through SEM and Paid Social Media to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving growth, increasing brand awareness, and executing data-driven campaigns that generate results. Anyone with successful growth marketing experience in a startup is encouraged to apply.

The following responsibilities and deliverables are not all inclusive and can/will change depending on what is needed by the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive SEM and Paid Social Media growth marketing strategy to drive revenue and increase brand awareness

• Create and manage digital campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok

• Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights and make data-driven decisions that optimize results

• Manage and grow a team of SEM and Paid Social Media marketing professionals

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with marketing, sales, and product objectives

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to measure performance and ROI

• Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies to continually improve the effectiveness of our campaigns

• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure the highest quality service and support for our campaigns

• SEO experience is a plus

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in SEM and Paid Social Media marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving results

•Knowledge of Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other relevant digital marketing platforms

• Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign performance metrics

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast results, and optimize campaigns for ROI

• A passion for digital marketing and a drive to stay current with the latest trends and technologies

• Experience in growth marketing

• Experience marketing to Gen-Z is a bonus

Other Team Requirements:

Part of working with a startup means that things can change on a dime. The risk of working on a startup is great, but the future reward at the end of our exit could be enormous. With that being said, the hours of this position can vary week to week. Certain weeks, the executive team may require you to work late into the nights, weekends or even holidays. Often the amount of hours will exceed 40 hours a week, but we will either pay you accordingly OR we can discuss equity performance based packages to compensate for later work.

We may also (in the future) require you to relocate depending on where we set up the company in the next year. Locations currently up for discussion include Tampa Florida, Austin, Texas, and Miami, Florida. For the first year, remote will most likely be okay- this is also up for discussion depending on the number of employees we hire out this year.

We will hold daily meetings most likely in the morning and before we close out the day to discuss progress and strategy moving forward. We will also have a Slack channel for daily discussion to increase communication in a virtual environment. You may also be required to join Board of Advisor meetings, legal meetings, and contribute to investor meetings dependent on our needs at the time. In addition, if we apply to startup accelerators, you may be required to travel to our Demo Day/future investor presentations. In the case of this travel requirement, we can compensate you for any expenses accrued up to a reasonable extent. This is a startup, so our focus is on using our capital to expand for future payout. The life is not going to be glamorous, but the opportunity of a huge exit will be extremely rewarding.
