Summary
Executes and manages the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of Collaborative Solutions and any subsidiaries as assigned. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to track the company’s financial performance against plan; analyze business performance and market conditions to create forecasts; and assist management in making tactical and strategic decisions consistent with the company’s profitability targets. This position works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Project Managers and others in the organization, to analyze and present key performance drivers; facilitate the quoting process by developing a sound understanding of the company’s costs; and measure the effectiveness of marketing projects relative to margin targets and operating assumptions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the development of quotations, ensuring all costs have been accurately accounted for Spearheads the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and reports results to the Board of Directors, as requested Identifies opportunities for performance improvement across the organization Develops models that help with decision-making Provides solutions to accounting, financial and business administration issues as they arise Future duties may expand to include the payroll and audit functions

Education and Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year college or university. Five years of professional level experience in accounting, finance, or financial planning & analysis roles Proficient in preparing and delivering financial statements and reports to decision makers
Collaborative Solutions Critical math skills and a proven ability to analyze financial statements and perform cost calculations Ability to quickly learn industry-related information and utilize information in written reports Strong critical thinking and collaborative skills Advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software, as well as financial modeling within Excel Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills Attention to accuracy and detail required
Preferred Qualifications
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and accounting policy and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present financial and operating information and respond to questions from groups of managers and Board members.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to perform financial and statistical analysis, modeling and forecasting. Ability to present operating and financial data in graphical form.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and convey meaning in layman’s terms.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an extensive knowledge of the Microsoft business suite, along with diverse knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software. A general understanding of time tracking and project management tools is also required.

Pay: $42,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
