Collab Training Academy CIC a non for profit small but fast-growing organisation based in Lewisham that works with individuals who have barriers are disengaged, and who are at risk of becoming not in education, employment, or training (NEET) to give them an opportunity to gain the skills and experience they need for their journey in education career and employment

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a web developer to come on board to support us with keeping our website up to date and redesigning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with the team to match visual design intent
• Research other websites and create reports based on your findings

The role is mostly homeworking, but they might be asked to attend in-person meetings sometimes.

This placement will last for 12 weeks
You will benefit from a flexible schedule as the team will be aware of your time and preferences, and you will not be working in an office environment.
Location: The role is mostly remote, but you might be asked to attend in-person meetings sometimes.

Salary: Please note this is a voluntary position.

After the 12-weeks placement, there may be an opportunity to continue working with the company.
